Abstract
Ribarstvo je grana poljoprivrede s mogućnošću iskorištavanja resursa mora ponajviše za ribolov i uzgoj riba. Akvakultura za koje Hrvatska ima kapacitete, vrlo je bitna stavka o kojoj ovisi stanje ribljeg fonda danas. Rast i razvoj akvakulture povećava se sve većom potražnjom za ribom, a Hrvatska koja ima dobre uvijete za rast i razvoj akvakulture u smislu klime može uz odgovarajuću pozornost iskoristiti takav potencijal. More tekuće ribarstvene politike s kojima se susreću hrvatski ribari koji ribolovom kao selektivnim procesom vrlo je teško postižu veću stopu ulova i profitabilnost. Abstract (english)
Fisheries is a branch of agriculture with the possibility of exploiting sea resources mainly for fishing and fish farming. Aquaculture, for which Croatia has the capacity, is a very important sector on which the actual state of the fish stock today depends. The growth and development of aquaculture is increasing due to the increasing demand for fish, and Croatia, which has good conditions for the growth and development of aquaculture in terms of climate can use such potential, however... The paper examines the extent of the entire fish stock in the Adriatic Sea and analyses current fishing policies facing Croatian fishermen who find it very difficult to achieve a higher catch rate and profitability through fishing as a selective process. By assessing the populations of marine organisms that live in the Adriatic, it is possible to determine technological and regulatory measures that would facilitate the maintaining of biodiversity in a long-term and at high level.
