Abstract
Tema ovog završnog rada je obrada analize i svojstava nodularnog lijeva te samih njegovih karakteristika i proizvodnju istog. Cilj ovog završnog rada je da se predoči i pojasni što je nodularni lijev te koji su njegove prednosti nad drugim ljevovima i zašto je on toliko široko rasprostranjen. Karakteristično kod nodularnog lijeva je to što ukoliko pogledamo na mikroskopskoj razini vidimo kuglice tj. nodule. Nodularni lijev se razlikuje od ostalih ljevova upravo zbog svoje mikrostrukture i svojim fizikalnim svojstvima koja ne postoje kod ni jednog drugog lijeva. Ima vrlo veliku rasprostranjenost u tehnologiji jer se može veoma lako obraditi strojnom obradom, ima veoma dobar omjer težine i čvrstoće, jeftiniji je nego čelik te veoma pouzdan. U radu se nastoji objasniti različite oblike jezgre koje se mogu javiti. Ukoliko se toplinski obradi njegova svojstva se mogu uvelike poboljšati.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this final paper is the processing of the analysis and properties of ductile iron and its characteristics and its production. The aim of this final paper is to present and explain what ductile iron is and what its advantages over other casts are and why it is so widespread. It is characteristic of ductile iron that if we look at the microscopic level we see little balls - nodules. Ductile iron is different from other castings precisely because of its microstructure and its physical properties that do not exist in any other casts. It has a very high prevalence in technology because it can be very easily machined, it has a very good weight to strength ratio, it is cheaper than steel and it is very reliable. The paper tries to explain the different core shapes that can occur. If heat treated, its properties can be greatly improved.
